Winter Fashion Trends 2016

Fortunately, this has been a warm winter for Toronto, as 2016 has turned out to be insanely mild. And, this poses an opportunity for new fashion trends! Layered long sleeves and turtle necks have adjusted this January’s pre conceived trends, as there is simply no need for them! In celebration of this beautiful weather, ripped jeans, slit shirts and light coats are most definitely acceptable! For inexpensive clothing that is appropriate for this mild winter, be sure to check out Orfus road! Personal favourite’s when it comes to stores on Orfus include Sirens, Stitches and Costa Blanca. All of the pre mentioned stores I have purchased sweaters and jeans from, that have gone through and maintained shape after a wash or two in the washer and dryer. The clothing I usually get from this street is usually for my everyday wear, and sometimes for going out – not exactly business casual clothing! Orfus Road is my guilty pleasure, as I can fill a shopping cart of clothes for the same price I would normally get one shirt for! This street has everything and more, all for a great price! Fashion does not have to pricey girls and boys!

Now introducing my go to for this warm winter, that is a little more expensive and classier than Orfus Road. American Apparael is a personal favourite store of mine but is on the more expensive end of the spectrum. It definitely represents my fashion sense. The clothing pieces range from casual to dressy! My go item from American Apparael this ‘winter’ season are my solid high waist denim jeans that flatter my waist down. This jean is great as is holds shape and does not stretch after being worn two days in a row! I also purchased my go to crop top about three weeks ago from this store, as it complements the jeans nicely, and sits right at my high hips! Kendell Jenner has it, so I had to do the same! This is a white crop top with a build in choker – this look is very in this season!
