Spring Activities

For many, spring is the start of the best season of the year. For others, spring is a way of looking at the summer ahead and having no work to do. Either way, spring is a pleasant and enjoyable time of the year for all. There are so many spring activities for people to do, and often times people just don’t take advantage of them. Here are some great ideas for spring activities!

Sit outside at a café! This sounds kind of silly, but honestly, it’s so rare that we get to sit outside when we eat! In other places in the world that are hot, people eat outside all the time! And, if you’ve ever sat outside during the spring or summer, you know how nice it can be. The nice weather, watching people going about their day, and enjoying some great food! So whether it’s a date, with a friend, or by yourself, try to sit outdoors at a café!
Visit the farmers market! All year we buy all of our produce from grocery stores, and sometimes the produce is not even the highest quality. We will often settle for substandard produce during the winter months because good produce is hard to come by! The farmer’s market is sure to have delicious fresh produce and will be lovely to visit during the springtime! You can get fresh wild blueberries, sweet corn, or some juicy strawberries. They’re guaranteed to be better than what you get during the year!
Take a trip to the zoo! I bet the last time you went to the zoo was so long ago! It’ll be great because it’s mostly outdoors, so you can walk around and take your time without being freezing cold! Even though it’s hot, some of the animals will be awake and lively, and kids always love visiting the animals even if they’re sleeping. And, luckily the Toronto Zoo has a splash pad, so if it’s warm enough the kids can go and play in it!!

There are so many fun things to do this spring, and it’s all a matter of finding some things to do and coming up with new and creative ideas! Don’t let the nice weather go to waste!
