Impeccable Delivery

Throughout the year, there are just so many occasions. Weddings, birthdays, holidays, anniversaries and so on. And we all know we can’t be going empty-handed to these events or occasions. Even for the unfortunate events that occur throughout the year. Every now and then, someone ends up in the hospital or, unfortunately, you have the odd funeral to go to. Which means the amount of gifts you need throughout the year is just ridiculous!

We all are busy. I’m at the office from 9 to 5 and only getting home around 6, meaning I am unable to attend every event on my list. At first, I was afraid that this would send the wrong message. Like, when my aunt was in the hospital, I thought she would be upset that I did not find the time to visit her room there. But, I made sure I sent an extravagant gift basket to the hospital. Later, I found out that she was not very well and hated when people were constantly visiting her at the hospital. She really needed the rest and was more than happy to receive the basket I had sent her. The card made her smile during her difficult time. That meant the world to me!

After that incident, I have relied on gift basket companies for any event that I need a gift for. Something I absolutely despised with certain gift basket businesses was their delivery service. I used a company in the past that delivered a broken glass bowl to my friend. I was so embarrassed! With the company that I use now, I have never even encountered an issue and in fact, they have found ways to exceed my expectations! I’ve heard horror stories about gifts getting delivered a week later than it was supposed to or, even worse, gifts not getting there at all!  It’s CRAZY!

What I like about the company I’ve been using is their honesty. If I have to send a gift in a different province or country, they tell me however many days it will take to get to my destination. They are not merely focused on making the sale but they want to make me and my friends and family happy campers! They have me coming back to them for more! More sales for them and less of a headache for me! I’m not complaining!

The delivery service of a gift basket is the most important thing. First of all, and this especially goes for corporate gifts, it’s important to have a professional delivery staff. I want someone who actually cares about my gift and the recipient, and who is going to be friendly and patient to whomever he or she meets. If they are careless and sloppy there is the chance of the basket being ruined, or maybe my recipient will not be greeted in a friendly manor. The second part of delivery is ensuring that it gets to its destination on time.  If the gift is for someone’s birthday, for example, I don’t want them to get it late, because then they’ll think that I was disorganized! But if they get it too early, it ruins the fun! I like when the gift basket company I use delivers my gift on the exact day that I want it. And the last part of the delivery service is that it gets to its proper destination. If it goes to the wrong address, there’s the risk of someone accepting the gift that I sent, even if it wasn’t to them! I can’t rely on people to be honest and say that it’s not for them, so I need to be able to rely on the delivery service of the company to make sure that my gift gets delivered where I want, to who I’m sending it to.
